Papa Quiero

A little concerned I start to read the parts of the missions entrusted to the army of my country. Still echo in my ears the cries of No! to the war, still see with closed eyes a multitude of protesters carried banners which read not the Iraq war!. Yet I hear some other comments about a photo on an island, and before that, I wonder: do went to a war?. It seems that my townspeople say yes!, and if my neighbors say it, something should really. But to read reports that alleged mission of war that made the army of my country I begin to understand because my daughters want to go to war.

Of the four reports for the four mandated missions where you just were our soldiers more than one year. Do and more specifically in the third report meeting (I have omitted from the text, the names of places and of military contingents):?The Mission remained the same as its predecessor: contribute to the security and stability in its area of responsibility and cooperate in their reconstruction; a total of thirty-six thousand and peak of square kilometres inhabited by fencing off of two million people conducting patrols of protection with the seizure of 431 weapons (mostly pistols and rifles), the destruction of more than 60,000 ammunition dangerous for civilians. Also programs of humanitarian aid, rehabilitation of 30 schools, 20 health centres and 20 municipal buildings and rehabilitation and implementation have been developed up maternal and child hospital. The base were attended more than 500 civilians (elderly and children) in their majority. Facilities were attended to 5,238 patients of which 1.129 were treated surgically. 14 Tons of food, 25,000 breakfasts, 3,000 servings, 16 tons of bottled water, 20,000 liters of water, 5,000 litres of infant formula, were distributed 15,000 liters of oil, 30,000 kilos of sugar, 15.120 yogurts; delivery of sports and school equipment was also made, three schools and a factory were rehabilitated, and a sanitation network, rebuilt a railway, and collected and destroyed 800 tons of explosives? Before these results and this war, difficult it makes me denying my daughters to go to this kind of wars and more even when I read the seven rules of engagement of our soldiers in the Iraq war.
